About Intuitive in Pearls

Attorney by day, intuitive geriatric millennial by night.

I have struggled for years on how to blend my professional self with my passion projects. Is it OK for an attorney to wear birks with pearls and a blazer, and to have more tarot decks than she has copies of a legal writing bluebook? This was something I had wondered for years, wandering and tapping into my intuitive side - something I believe we all have but the patriarchy and late-stage capitalism has convinced us of otherwise.

Years of searching, including therapy, a conversion to Judaism, dabbling with veganism and landing on vegetarianism, and all along bringing my progressive lefty Vermont-college educated self through law school and the legal world. This intersection really came to a head after years of fertility struggles, I suffered a pregnancy loss and the loss of my father within six weeks. That kind of trauma whammy was enough to challenge me to decide what really mattered to me.

I am happy to share that I am now the proud mom to a curious and bubbly toddler. I went through it to get to into this motherhood club. After coming up for air after the first year - combined with the present state of women’s rights, especially around the attacks on access to reproductive health care - I feel compelled to do something to help others from my little corner of the universe.

Welcome as I try to figure this all out.
